Ethnobotany of the Tsou Peoples, Taiwan: Raincoat   (more: Millet)

A young girl in rain mantle made from leaves of the mountain palm (Arenga engleri).  Mangacun Village. Women collect leaves of the mountain palm, and they make it. The mantle covers the head and back supported by a head cord over the forehead of the wearer.
